FOUND SF delivers recommendations and intel for people who earn and spend well in and around San Francisco — where and how to eat, live, get away, shop, work.

The web is a morass. Quality recommendations are particularly hard to come by. Enter FOUND, built to be highly interactive and extremely useful. 

To that end, subscribe. Paid subscribers will receive an email full of actionable information every Wednesday, plus full access to our archives and community. Unpaid subscribers will receive previews, occasional emails, and a sense of longing.

FOUND’s founders are Josh Albertson and Lockhart Steele. They have built and run all or parts of Curbed, Eater, Racked, Vox Media, Gawker Media, and Inman. They launched FOUND NY and FOUND LA in 2023 and FOUND MIAMI in 2024.
